Cash Compass is a 6×6 grid slot with cluster pays, however, no tumbling reels mechanic. Wins are awarded for clusters of six or more matching symbols landing horizontally and/or vertically connected. The reels itself are held on a treasure map that is bolted onto a wooden board surrounded by pristine sandy beaches and lushly green palm trees with calm sea waters and blue skies in the background. The pay symbols start at the low end with the card royals from J through to A designed in an aged-wood style, awarding across the board 10x your bet for a cluster of 15 or more symbols. Cash Compass was only the third slot creation from Hacksaw Gaming when they released it in June 2020. Core to hitting mega-sized wins in the base game is the compass symbol. Landing minimum five anywhere on the reels in a spin will trigger the Spreading Compass feature. The needle on the compass at the top of the reels will spin once after any normal wins are paid and all compass symbols in view will start spreading into the direction the needle is showing. A massive 1,000x bet is up for grabs if the spreading leads to a cluster of 30 or more compass symbols.

The feature will also play a significant role in the Free Spins round. Three scatters will trigger 10 free spins during which more compass symbols are added to the reels and a single one landing on a free spin will be sufficient to activate the Spreading Compass feature. The free spins cannot be retriggered.

Landing three treasure chests anywhere on the reels in one spin will award the Bonus Wheel. As the name indicates, a wheel with 8 segments will appear – seven with an x1 starting bet multiplier and one with a skull. Initially, one spin is given and landing on a multiplier segment will award the displayed multiplier before increasing it progressively as well as giving you another wheel spin. Should you land again on the same segment, then the increased multiplier is awarded and you can continue spinning the wheel, up to 50 times in a single feature.
