We all heard and read tales of lost explorers who set out on a quest to find ancient treasures but never returned to tell the story. Fantasma Games created a slot around the destiny of three such explorers with a dynamic reel set that starts off in a 2-3-3-3-2 format with 108 ways and can expand up to a 5×8 size with 16,807 ways to win.

Every spin in the base game starts off in the default format with 108 ways and 22 blocked reel positions. The aim is to unlock them all and enter the Snake Free Spins. Failure to open up the grid within a spin sequence will reset the game window to the default size before the start of the next spin.

Two modifiers will come to your aid to gradually open up the grid. Hitting any win with a Butterfly Wild will trigger the Butterfly feature. Once the win is paid, the winged creature will unlock three random blockers and grant a free respin. Landing more butterflies will repeat the process until all blockers have been removed, at which point you will enter the Snake Free Spins.

The second modifier is the Bomb feature. At the start of every spin in the base game, three bombs are placed on selected blocker positions. Every time a bomb is unlocked by the butterfly, it will explode and shatter all horizontally or vertically adjacent blockers, further opening up the grid. The number of ways is gradually increasing as more blockers are removed, up to the maximum of 16,807 ways.

Unlocking all blocked positions within a spin sequence will trigger 5 Snake Free Spins. The feature starts with the full grid size and 16,807 ways. On every free spin, the snake is moving downwards by one row, gradually reducing the win ways to 5400, 2000, 576 and 108. At the same time, the multiplier will increase from x1 to x2, x5, x20 and ultimately x100 on the final spin. Collecting three Butterflies during the feature will kill the snake and award 2 Super Free Spins with the full 16,807 ways and x100 multiplier, which will be played after the initial feature ends.
