Growing from a small game studio to a global supplier of land based and online video slots is no easy feat. But that is exactly what Genesis Gaming has achieved in less than one decade. Since their foundation in 2008 in a small office in the gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas, they have steadily extended their footprint across the globe. Offices in Asia, Europe and Canada prove their global reach. Initially, producing games for Microgaming’s Quickfire platform, they soon ventured out to release their own games and can look today a catalogue of 200+ titles with various themes, layouts and features.
The turn to a global supplier was sealed in 2015 when they received their license from the UK Gambling Commission, which saw their games becoming quickly household names across the board, no matter if the operation is land-based, online, or mobile, and for real-money or social gaming play. The same year saw their first nominations for prestigious awards for the release of their slot Machine Gun Unicorn. It earned them The Game to Watch 2015 award nomination and saw the being shortlisted for the 2016 Digital Gaming Innovation award.
Genesis Gaming is though not a company to rest on its laureates. In the past year, they started releasing new games every month, showing their increased commitment to growth and diversification as they serve increasingly more markets worldwide. One type of slot, however, is still missing in their portfolio, progressive jackpots. To date, they have not ventured into this market segment and currently they don’t seem to have plans to start anytime soon.
Their slots are usually five reel designs with 10, 20, 25 or 30 pay lines. Some games such as Gods of Giza comes with just four reels. The graphics, animations and overall feel are at the high end, while the game play is engaging and entertaining with ample features and bonus games. Apart from their hit slot Machine Gun Unicorn there are few more worth mentioning.
