The history of Magnet Gaming is intertwined with CEGO A/S, which in itself is partially owned by the Danish national lottery Danske Spil A/S. CEGO has been developing casual and social media games since the turn of the century and a few years later added casino games to their portfolio. They were the first to receive a Danish licence to operate an online casino in Denmark. The company prides itself in doing the entire development in-house with around 90 people from areas such as game and web programming, game and sound design, graphics, customer support and server administration. They even employ their one chefs to cater daily for their workforce.
Magnet Gaming was founded in 2015 with the aim to license and distribute their online casino games to other operators, mainly focused on regulated markets outside of Denmark.
