Well, the visuals are not exactly a work of art but reminiscent of the 80s roller disco era. A striped canvass serves as background to the square game window that is framed with flashing lights. The cancellation of the 2020 European Championship has probably given NetEnt the idea to clone their dedicated slot for the tournament. Super Striker has the exact mechanics except that the Bet Slip feature is missing on this creation. The base game won’t have you jumping off your seat that often unless a Golden Scatter lands anywhere on the reels.  Only one can appear on a spin and when it does, it will reveal a coin win worth 10x or 20x your total stake.

Hitting three standard or any mix of scatters will trigger the Free Spins feature. The scenery will change with only Golden Scatters on the reels. The three from the triggering spin will be locked in place while three spins are awarded to land more. Each appearing will stay on the screen as well and the spin counter reset to three. The process continues until you run of spins or all nine positions are filled with golden footballs. Each displays a bet multiplier between 1x to 50x your total stake which will be added together at the end of the level.

Final Verdict

Usually, I would trash such blatant clones but decided to give Disco Danny a pass considering the situation we are in during this summer. Surprisingly, they did not include the Bet Slip which is actually one of the main attractions on Super Striker, which pushes this creation close to the mediocre category. To make up for the omission, they included a higher maximum multiplier int the bonus game. Overall though, it has the same math model at its core and a similar win potential.
