House of Doom 2: The Crypt
The haunted mansion is calling on you again on the slot from Play’n GO. House of Doom 2: The Crypt takes you back to the eerie place to reveal more hidden secrets and chambers. Brave spinners daring to enter the forsaken manor will get to witness the powers of four wild spirits, each unleashing a modifier in the base game, free spins and Crypt Spins that can lead to wins of up to 6,000 times their bet.
House of Doom 2: The Crypt is a video slot with five reels, three rows and 20 fixed pay lines. Wins are awarded for three to five matching symbols on a line from left to right only. You can enter the mysterious crypt on desktop, tablet or mobile devices from 0.20 to 100 credits per spin. The game has medium volatile (7/10) with an RTP of 96.25%. Beware, some casinos will offer the game with a lower RTP settings of 94.25% or 91.25%. Make sure to read the help file to find out which version you will be playing.
The second visit to the House of Doom is taking you deeper inside the haunted mansion. The translucent reels framed by stone columns with eternal guardians are set in front of the entrance to the Crypt. Trigger the features and you will be entering the eerie chamber sparsely lit by a few candles. Ritual relics and the four wild spirits dominate the reels to a spine-chilling soundtrack that changes according to the active domain.
The pay symbols start the low end with blood-red Gothic card royals from 10 through to A, awarding 2x to 3.5x your bet for a single five of a kind. They are followed by four ritual relic symbols – crossed daggers, flowering nightshades, burning candle sets and spiked skulls. Hit five on a line to win 4x to 10x your stake. The game has four wilds based on the active domain – Wild Fire Mistress, Wild Metal Priestess, Wild Queen of the Damned, Wild Spirit of Unity – the latter being available during the Crypt Spins only. All perform the usual substitution duties while yielding 25x your bet when five land across the reels. A eery icon marked with The Crypt acts as the scatter.
House of Doom 2: The Crypt Slot Features
After the original House Of Doom from 2018, Play’n Go is inviting players to another creepy reel journey into the unknown. The haunted house calls again, taking those brave enough to enter the forsaken mansion deeper into the underground than ever before. Daring to go past the Spirit Gate will lead players to three different domains, each inspired by an eternal guardian and its powers. Only one domain will be active at a time and will change in a random order after every Free Spins or Crypt Spins feature.
The Spirit Gate can open and activate on a random single reel on any spin in the base game. Landing one of the three wilds inside it will trigger a respin with the respective mysterious powers of the active domain.
- Wild Fire Mistress Domain: Any win landing on the respin will be multiplied by x2, x3, x5 or x10.
- Wild Metal Priestess Domain: All ritual relic symbols are upgraded to the top-paying skull symbol
- Wild Queen of the Damned Domain: All reels turn into Spirit Gates for the respin.
Hitting The Script scatters on reels one, three and five will trigger the Free Spins. During feature, more than one Spirit Gate can activate on any spin, providing extra chances to trigger one or more of the modifiers. Each scatter landing in an active Spirit Gate will be upgraded to a Flaming Crypt scatter.
Your second tour of the haunted mansion reaches its climax when you trigger the Crypt Spins. This can happen during the base game on a Queen of Damned respin and in the free spins when all three scatters have been upgraded. You will need to land the Flaming Crypt scatters anywhere on reel one, three and five in one spin to trigger 8 Crypt Spins which will unleash the Wild Spirit of Unity. Any time she lands in an active Spirit Gate she will award a respin with the united powers of all three wilds. Crypt Spins can be retriggered.
While the original House of Doom slot didn’t lack in personality and creepiness, it never really became very popular in the player community. Its sequel, House of Doom 2: The Crypt, could change that as it has inherited the eerie creepiness but features a more diverse gameplay, suspenseful modifiers and a climax capable of delivering bigger wins of up to 6,000 times your bet.
