Much of the original mood has been kept for this fourth title of the series. Each dreamy background switches colour from blue to red to green to match the current Princess in view next to the grid. On a basic spin, 25 symbols drop onto the grid. Any clusters of three to five horizontally or vertically adjacent symbols will be removed, and the remaining symbols drop towards the base. A wild moon symbol is created in the centre of each winning 3 symbol cluster, which can help lead to further wins. The sequence ends when no new winning combos occur. Clearing the grid completely of symbols in the base game awards an instant cash prize of 50x your stake.

At the start of each spin, a random number of positions will be highlighted. Scoring a win across a highlighted position increases a win multiplier by x1 increments. Final Verdict

Statistically speaking, Moon Princess Trinity is what you get when you combine the worst stats from the series. The pay symbols are at their lowest value, max win potential is the weakest at 4,000x bet, the win multiplier doesn’t reach the dizzy heights of Moon Princess 100, and the bonus game is, quite frankly, ‘missing’ features compared to the others.

This fourth release takes the qualifying Trinity Spin from the original for a bonus feature, which is hardly revolutionary, not praiseworthy, somewhat disappointing, and certainly not the evolution of such a popular series a fan might expect. Moon Princess Trinity is not a terrible game, but compared to its siblings, it’s by far the ugliest sister.
