Final Verdict

Has Red Rake Gaming done enough for their Egyptian slot to stand out from the overcrowded niche? Mother of Horus is well designed although some of the pay symbols look rather lost on the big reels, the animations flow smoothly and the soundtrack is finely tuned to the action on the reels. So far, so good. However, two vital items are letting it partly down. The relatively low RTP and the at best medium win potential fo 2,500 times bet. Both are heavily scrutinized in the casino community and the numbers will fail to convince many of the hardcore players. Overall, the gameplay was engaging and the mini-reels add an extra element of suspense. Our test run was not too bad as we scored a few good wins with just over 250x bet being the highest in over three hours of spinning the reels.
