Wild Cats Multiline
Experience a homage to the planet’s majestic wild cats on the slot from Red Tiger Gaming. The first game to feature the developer’s proprietary Multiline reel mechanic comes with variable rows and up to 49 ways to win. Get to trigger the Royal Spins round and you could win up to 2,000 times your bet.
Wild Cats Multiline is a video slot with six reels featuring variable row and pay line configurations. While the number of reels is fixed, the game will change the amount of rows on each spin leading to 4, 9, 16, 25, 36 or 49 pay lines. You can encounter the mighty creatures on desktop or mobile from 0.10 to 40 credits per spin. The volatility is at the top of the scale (5/5) with an RTP in the 96% range. We will confirm the exact figure once we receive more details.
Whilst the game evolves around the mightiest wild cats from different continents, the creators at Red Tiger chose a scene from the African savanna as the backdrop to a rather large game window. A serene appearance with a meandering river and umbrella thorn acacias is filled with the typical colours of the setting sun in the savanna.
Open the game to find the card suites – hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds – carved from gemstones at the low end of the pay table. They are followed by four wild cats – an African caracal, a North-American black jaguar or African black leopard (take your pick), an African leopard and Asian tiger. The king of the jungle, the African lion, is the wild symbol substituting for all regular pay symbols, awarding 50x your bet for a single six of a kind. An intricate icon marked with “Royal Spins” acts as the scatter.
Wild Cats Multiline Slot Features
There are no base game features or modifiers to look forward other than the occasional roar when the lion wild makes an appearance to substitute for other symbols. It is all about the single feature, the Royal Spins. You will need to land three or more scatters in one spin to trigger the bonus round. In typical Red Tiger fashion, you will get a random number of free spins ranging from 6 to 30.
During the feature, any lion wild landing on the reels will see him striking with his paws at a random number of non-winning symbols. They will be scratched out and replaced with new winning symbols. More than one wild can appear on a free spin, which can lead to a full screen of matching symbols.
I can only hope you didn’t make the mistake to expect a lot more from this game. The name and visuals surely indicate that there could be but it is really only about triggering the bonus round. While the graphics and animations are quite spectacular, the new Multiline engine was not that exciting for me. As usual with big reel sets, it implies that there are many ways to win whereas that is rarely the case and on this game, they are limited to a mere 49. We will see how the playing community will react once it is released on 25th July 2019.
