Join a gang of outlaws for their next heist on the slot from ReelPlay. Big Bucks Bandits Megaways is taking you to the vast plains of the Wild West on a dynamic reel set with up to 117,649 ways to win, cascading symbols, wild substitutions, a Jackpot Respins Bank Heist bonus game where four fixed jackpots are up for grabs and a Double Cross gamble feature that can lead to wins of up to 10,000 times your bet.
The slot will be exclusively pre-released at William Hill and Mr Green on 8th July 2020 before being made available at all online casinos offering ReelPlay slots via the SG Digital platform on 22nd July 2020.
Slot Details
Big Bucks Bandits Megaways is a cascading video slot with six reels, up to seven rows as well as 324 to 117,649 ways to win. The number of ways is randomly determined for every spin sequence by dropping between 2 and 7 pay symbols onto reels one and six as well as 2 to 6 pay symbols for reels two to five. Additionally, the game has an extra reel at the top of the game window with four positions, extending from reel two to five, where more symbols appear on every spin. A display in the top right corner shows the total amount of active ways to win for the current spin sequence.
Wins are paid for two to six symbols on adjacent reels from left to right only. The symbols from a winning combination are part of a reaction which will see them explode to make room for new symbols to cascade into place. This will continue as long as a new winning combo occurs after a reaction. Wins are accumulated from all cascades and paid before the next spin sequence starts.
Your Wild West adventure on desktop, tablet or mobile starts at 0.20 credits and peaks at 25 credits. Some operators might offer it with higher bet limits of up to 100 credits. The game has medium with an RTP of 96.102%.
A view of the vast plains in the American West on a hot, cloudless day is opening up when you load the game. The giant reel set is held in a wooden frame with the two outlaws dominating the paytable together with a beautiful town lady. The soundtrack is not overly dramatic but pleasing with some soothing flute tones thrown in between the reel noises.

All pay symbols except wilds can appear stacked at any time. They start at the low end with whiskey jugs, cattle skulls, cactuses, stetsons, cowboy boots and colts, awarding 0.5x to 1.2x your bet for a single six of a kind. The premium symbols are a bronco, a bandit with two colts, a town lady and bandit smoking a cigar. Hit six across the reels to win 2x to 100x your stake. A sheriff star marked with the wort itself is the wild symbol, appearing in the horizontal reel only and substituting for all regular pay symbols. A money bag acts as the scatter and bonus symbol.
Big Bucks Bandits Megaways Slot Features
After Hypernova Megaways and Atlantis Megaways, ReePlay is regurgitating the same concept and features for a third time on this creation, only that on this occasion we are heading into the plains of the Wild West albeit with lower volatility and win potential. Hence, if you played the first two slots, then you will know what to expect. The base game can be tedious at times while you are waiting for the feature to trigger as there are no random modifiers included. Still, due to the sheer number of ways to win, there is a good chance to hit sizeable wins in the base game too.
Having six or more money bags in view at the end of a spin sequence will trigger the Jackpot Respins Bank Heist feature. The number of Megaways and all triggering scatters will be locked in and initially, three respins awarded with all other reel positions blanked out. The reels will spin and any new scatter symbol landing will be locked in as well and the respin counter reset to three. The feature continues until you either run out of spins or the entire screen is filled with scatters. Each money bag in view will be marked with a random coin win from 1x to 100x your bet while any trophy landing will award the respective jackpot. In the end, all money values and jackpots are added and paid.
- Bronze Trophy: Mini Jackpot at 10x bet, can be won multiple times in one feature
- Silver Trophy: Minor Jackpot at 50x bet, can be won multiple times in one feature
- Gold Trophy: Major Jackpot at 250x bet, can we won once only per feature
- Platinum Trophy: Grand Jackpot at 1,000x bet, can be won once only per feature
And there is an extra kicker for slotting nerds looking for more suspenseful moments. Using the Gamble feature, you can risk you Free Spins winnings and gamble them repeatedly up to 5x the original amount initially won in the round. A pie-wheel will appear, displaying the real odds of winning the gamble. You will never lose your entire winnings on the first gamble as landing on red will still leave you with 0.5x of your Free Spins winnings. You can opt to collect at any time.
Anyone wanting to cut through the chase and enter instantly the Free Spins feature, there is a Buy Bonus button. It will cost you 60x your default bet and start a spin that is guaranteed to land at least six scatters to trigger a bonus round. Beware though, the feature can be volatile at times and using the Buy Bonus option repeatedly could deplete your balance rapidly.
Final Verdict
Well, I was actually hoping for something different when ReelPlay announced their third Megaways slot but the result is more of the same than anything else. New on this creation is the gamble feature that we have seen for the first time on Giza Infinity Reels. Everything else is unchanged except that the top jackpot value has been halved, which is rather disappointing. Although the max win potential of 10,000x bet has been kept.
