The visuals on Miami Glow are not as intriguing and elaborate as on The Vault but they do well to convey that neon-era feeling from the 1980s. We don’t know if Miami Vice served as inspiration for the design team but they sure went to great length to make their slot as action-packed as the TV series. Three different modifiers and features will keep you on your toes as they have a relatively high hit rate and a tantalizing win potential of up to 5,000 times your bet.

Plus any activated win multiplier in the triggering spin will be kept throughout the feature. It will end when no further sticky wilds appear after a respin or the entire screen is filled with wilds. Usually, when we read about a free spin feature we assume it will include a good number of spins like 8, 10 or 15. Well, think again as on Miami Glow you’ll get 1, in words one, Glow Bonus Spin when you land Glow scatters on reels one, three and five. While that sounds rather disappointing, the single spin can pack quite a punch as long stacks of wilds are added to the reels, increasing the odds to land a full screen of wilds. Without any multipliers that would yield a respectable 250x bet.

Final Verdict

It remains to be seen whether Miami Glow will be as well received by the casino community as its older sibling The Vault. I like the concept with multiple features, making sure that the big win potential is spread out more evenly instead of being concentrated in a single bonus round. The high hit rate of the features only further improves the playability. Well worth to give it a few spins in your next slotting session.
