Lil’ Devil is to this day an epic piece of rock music and now destined to be the next slot creation from Big Time Gaming that will hit the casino lobbies in autumn 2019. Lil’ Devil is a video slot with six reels, four rows and 4,096 ways to win. Pays are awarded for two to six matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right only. The game has maximum volatility (10/10) with an RTP range from 96.31% to 96.43%, depending on which free spin feature you will be choosing.

The visuals have a doomsday feel with fire-blazing colours and funnily enough a game window surrounded by poppies (you know, the flowers known to be the main source for opium). In a tribute to the most successful BTG slot Bonanza, they included the famous miner’s shack on the left of the reel set, plus it acts as the scatter. It amazes me on each occasion when I get my first glimpse of an upcoming Big Time Gaming slot as they surprise us time and again with completely new or altered versions of bonus features that make every game unique and stand out from the crowd by a mile, not just by a notch. On Lil’ Devil, you will get to experience the introduction of their newly trademarked Heartstopper™ mechanic that doubles the types of free spin modes from two to four.

The Devil Wild appears on all reels except the first and performs the usual substitution duties. The Angel Wild appears stacked on reels three and four only and will award a random win multiplier x4, x6, x8, x10 or x12, giving the potential to hit a maximum x144 overall multiplier.

The standard free spin modes are offered when you hit at least three scatters anywhere on the reels in one spin. The game will also award 6x, 20x, 50x and 100x your total bet for three, four, five and six scatters respectively. Similarly to The Final Countdown, the game will lead to a second screen, presenting you with two options for your bonus round. You can pick any of the two on each trigger.

• Option 2 | Dynamite Lover – 12 Free Spins: The round is played with the known reactive wins mechanic from Megaways slots. All symbols from a winning combination will explode to make room for new ones to drop into place, possibly leading to more wins. Dynamite Wilds can appear on reels three and four, carrying a multiplier that starts at x1 and increases by x1 every time they are part of a winning combo, up to a maximum of x12 for each, which can lead to a maximum win multiplier of x144. Landing three scatters on a spin will award +6 free spins, plus any further scatter on the same spin will add the same amount, no limits.

The second part of the features is even more exhilarating as they will come with enhancers to provide extra win potential. Final Verdict

While staying somewhat close to the other two rock-themed slots with the 6×4 layout, Lil’ Devil captivates players with yet more twists that will heighten not only the suspense but undoubtedly also the win potential. Big Time Gaming is proving again that it fully deserves the title of shooting star in the casino community.

Especially the Heartstopper feature is worth mentioning as it puts an end to the swearing and eye-rolling on teaser spins since they will now lead to an enhanced bonus round. Worth mentioning and in my opinion welcomed is also the lack of a bonus buy feature.
